Program: Industrial Maintenance, Forklift Certification Series

Program Description: In this course you will learn areas of industrial maintenance including but not limited to Shop Safety, OSHA-10, Welding, and Electricity Fundamentals . Gain an understanding of advanced industrial maintenance-understanding industry shop skills and machinery “Hands on” applications using MIG welders, English wheel, hydraulic shear and brake, metal shrinker and tubing bender and electrical panels. Theoretical and extensive hands-on training in counterbalance sit down forklift, counterbalance stand up forklift, vertical mast lift “cherry picker” and electric pallet jack. Must be 18 years old to attend. A driver’s license is not a requirement. This is a pathway to Delta College.
