Program Description: A program that generally prepares individuals in the knowledge techniques and procedures for promoting health providing care for sick disabled infirmed or other individuals or groups. Includes instruction in the administration of medication and treatments assisting a physician during treatments and examinations Referring patients to physicians and other health care specialists and planning education for health maintenance.

Prerequisites:
Must have a High School Diploma from an approved/accredited High School or GED and be at least 18 years of age to enroll in the CORE program. Complete the TEAS VI exam with a minimum score of 64%. Interview with the Program Director is also required. Proof of one-year LVN/LPN work experience within the last 3 years. Proof of graduation from a Board-approved LVN/LPN program from an accredited institution or has completed an LVN/LPN Refresher/Re-entry program within 1 year of admissions. Transcripts showing proof of completing 33 units of General Education courses that make up Semesters I and II of the ADN Generic Pathway. Resume.
