Program: Welding Multi-Purpose, Fresno City College (F.9373.CA)

Program Description: This certificate program provides pre-employment training for an entry level job in the welding industry. Students will learn shielded metal, gas metal, gas tungsten and flux cored arc welding along with oxyacetylyene cutting and plasma cutting. Skills will include welding in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions with the various processes as well as welding with aluminimum and stainless steel with Gas Metal and Gas Tungsten arc welding processe. Student will also use common power and hand tools to compliment reltaed welding industry.
